Hi Duncan,
The link for UGC-6 does not give me a blank page. I see a wiring diagram.

Nick,
I found that "m28-13" drawing on RTTY.COM. It is relatively easy to read, especially the way they separate the AC & DC circuits. There are notes referenced on that drawing, but not on the drawing. Is there another page that goes with it?
The link for the UGC-6 you sent me https://www.navy-radio.com/tty/asr/ugc6-schem-01.pdf just gives a blank pdf page.
Thanks,

I generally like the ones that say something like:28ASR with LESU13115vac circuits at top. Loop circuits at bottom. The terminals at rear are Cxx. This is not a very good scan but I am on my phone and searching is hard. More later.
It depends on the LESU of course, but loop terminals are almost always the same C--

Jeffery,
Thanks, but I l have that document and it is very hard to follow.
I did find some schematics at http://rtty.com/development/teletype/model28ASR/index.html which look more helpful. (although there are rfreferences to "Notes" which are not there.)

I'm trying to set up a M28ASR and I need to find the rear terminal strip connections for the printer, keyboard, tape reader and aux reperf. The unit was from a civilian installation, but is referred to as a "UGC-6" on the patch panel.
I've tried to find a basic connection diagram from the documentation on Nick's site, but as Nick once said:
"Sometimes I think the Teletype publications group was run like a super-secret govt project - each group wrote about its own little piece, but no one knew how it all got connected together.......except for the document package shipped with each machine which was always discarded within two weeks."
Can someone just give me the rear panel terminal strip connections for the i/o's to/from the cabinet?
I will be wiring everything on separate loops. When I switch from "LINE" to "TEST", does everything get put into the one local loop?
Thanks,
Duncan
