I used one the other day, I was looking for the 850 one but somehow, leaving the demod in HF mode (so 1575/2425), it just...works somehow. (The demod does have a 170hz mode but its centered on 1500).

I may try the 850 either tonight or tomorrow if I mess with the demods again. Ready to recap the second one and get them off my bench.

Our power has been off three times in the last few weeks. Twice yesterday alone. Each time I have to run around shutting off computers and uninterruptible power supplies before the batteries die. Also two laptops that at least are not so critical on batteries.

So each time I disappear from the internet without warning. I am back up again now.

In addition my desktop which runs Retype,  TTY Artwork and Icecast keeps crashing. I do not know why except it is not a memory problem. When I notice it has crashed I drop everything and bring it back up.

http://n3crk.ddns.net:8000/tty -  News (updated daily)

n3crk://ddns.net:8000/retype - Very old news (Never changes)

n3crk://ddns.net:8000/ttyart - TTY Artwork (Always in good taste) (Never changes)

I recently eliminated some pictures that were too wide and added a few new ones.
I also changed the URL to "ttyart" which I felt was more descriptive of the content.

http://n3crk.ddns.net:8000/850 - News at 1575 Mark and 2425 pace The same news as the 170 shift stream but not in sync with it,

All my streams are 60 speed.

I spend two or three hours a day updating my two news steams but I rarely see anyone on them. I an starting to wonder if it is worth the effort. I could better spend that time working on my own Teletype Collection.
