I bought some ink ribbon for my -28 from Amazon. "Swartz" was the name but I'm not sure if that brand is still available
Ok I'm ready to get some new (like new new) ribbons for my 32/33 units; I saw Retrowagon Jeff mention Ribbons unlimited, but it looks like those are $20/ea plus $5 flat-rate shipping, which just sounds a little steep for a typewriter ribbon. I'm hoping to get maybe 4-5. Anyone else have a good source?
I had some NOS ones however the ink seems to be thickened and really builds up on the print head quick (and on my fingers, furniture, cat, and everything else). I have some spare metal spools if that helps.
