Alternatively, an Arduino can take in ASCII serial over the USB port (at 1200 and up) and output it as Baudot at 60/66/74/100 WPM via TTL or AFSK.  See http://ad7i.net/main/projects/tty/jack-knife/ for an example of that.

This is a four port adapter that uses the PL2301 chip. Bit pricey, but if you have multiple serial devices, worth the money.
