AH Finally saw this pic - I wonder if some older 1A2 style buttons would fit there! Personally, I'd get some good high res pics/scans to recreate it, and repaint it, and maybe get a t-shirt silk screening place to redo the art. I'm all about keeping things original original but thats really skimming that fine line of patina vs something else.

I have attached a photo of the panel. If I could find one more of those buttons, I could try making a transparent sticker wirh the printing cleaned up and removing the original damaged printing using acetone. Quite a project, but if a replacement is not available from a parts machine it may be my best option.

Not sure when I will have time, but the 33 "Teletype" metal faceplate looks easy enough to make out of an aluminum sheet and the printing something that wouldn't be hard to clone with a laser cutter and some Cermark.

That stamped radius edge on the modem blanking plate would be a pain though. I'd be inclined to mill it from bar stock and paint to spec if the original paint can still be sourced, but that gets a bit more pricey.
