"Built like a tank" compared to?   My friendly Wisconsin Bell Teletype guy said at the time he started to support them that they were made by Mattel.  At the time I think there were still some 15s in the systems he supported.  The 32/33 machines had their place and it appears that there are quite a few of them still running (perhaps with a few years rest?).
