Hello folks,
I finally got my Kleinschmidt TT100B/FG up and talking to a HAL ST-6000. I hooked the HAL up to the speaker port on a PC and have been having fun copying ITTY (love that wee oscilloscope). I am having some issues with the paper linefeed slipping (not advancing the paper). The platen is advancing ok but the roll paper only advances about 70% of the time. My assumption is that the platen has gotten hard over the years and doesn’t quite “grab” the paper as it should. I tried cleaning it with some 98% isopropyl alcohol and it helped a bit. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion before trying to pull things apart. The other option would be to use sprocket paper. I saw a thread on someone possibly acquiring some. I would be interested if it will fit my machine. I measure 8” sprocket width.
Thanks
