I was headed towards bringing up the 12-24 and then see you already mentioned it.

I may still have a box of 12-24 brass screws.  I had a central office style 19" rack.  Two vertical rails and really heavy base.  Left that dude behind when I moved to Texas.  That held the 2 meter transceiver, motor time out relay and power supply for the TU.  Probably some other stuff I've forgotten about.

Motor mounting plate in Model 15 as I recall.  Now 10-32 is familiar to hams and electronics

people because it is the standard screw size for rack mounting.  But 10-24 is the more common

bolt thread in that size.  Western Electric uses 12-24 for rack mounting.

 

Hadn't run into the 8-36 in any 28 stuff so far, is that more of a 12/14/15 era useage?
