Got a NOS M15 typing unit dated from December 1945 !!!

Uncrated it and flopped it on my M19 table...(the original typing unit

has issues) more later !

OF course it did not run, After troubleshooting for a few minutes,

it had a gummy framus in the selector adjustment plate...

Fixed, Now it prints 5's except NO RIBBON lift on UPPERS

Go figure !!!

Any Clues from Santa Helpers out there ?

Been playing with M15's M14's M19's since I was a teen,

Never seen this anomaly before hence this GK query...
