"Spring" indicates slow blow.  Seems strange that if you left it running it would blow.   Does your system stop motor if no activity?  I would expect fuse opening up to only occur during motor start.

Yep there's a 2A 125V fuse that is definitely shot. I did rotate the motor (clockwise) and it seems to turn freely.  This particular fuse has a spring inside it... presumably this would not be safely replaced with one of my Aliexpress cheapo fuses....

Of course if it's a blown fuse there are things to check before just sticking a new one in.  If it were a 28 I'd be going to the motor fan to see if things turn freely.  I'm not sure what the 32 equivalent would be.

That was my guess as well.

Sounds like my M28 when I run the selector magnets with a loop signal but forget to turn on the AC power on the teletype. Maybe a fuse?

Seasonal greetings folks  🎄🎉🍻

I was merrily receiving news tweets on the i-Telex system last night but come this morning - only clicking noises!  I have a thrilling video of this for you:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13EzpuWHSEE

As usual, any guidance appreciated!

cheers
