I looked at mine. Remove the mode knob to the left of the keyboard. Remove the stainless steel label plate. Remove the two countersunk screws and the left end of the bar and it will come free.

I have pulled a chassis from a M28 KSR before. There was a metal cabinet piece across the top of the keyboard that could be removed from inside the cabinet to free the keyboard.
This ASR cabinet seems to only have a release/break of the metal strip above the keyboard on the right side of the keyboard. The metal piece above the keyboard seems to run to the left, around the perf and be solidly connected to the cabinet. Yet this piece must be removed to remove the LAK keyboard & base?
Can anyone give me some direction?
