Yes that is correct. It makes a magnetic circuit by N>S>armature>N>S

Hi there. I am wiring up the magnets for a M28 ROTR. It is my understanding that for 60mA loop, these should be wired in parallel. First, just a confirmation of this. Then, is the polarity of the wiring important? I would normally think “yes” as I could imagine one pulling and one pushing if not wired properly.  However, the unit came to me with two wires between the two coils. One connecting the “inside” connections and one connecting the “outside” connections. See pix. Yes, one of the spades broke off.
