Thanks to Jerry and everyone else who contributed.  The model painted on the enclosure says “KS-5928 L7” the L7 I am assuming indicates “List 7” the diagram for which, found in the pdf Jerry unearthed is this:

 

 

Looks very simple and confirms Germanium Rectifier. Interestingly, some of the other “list” versions of this same model PS do show Selenium. I have to brush up on identifying them properly.

I am guessing, but would like your input) that the oil filled cap is probably ok but the big electrolytic should be reformed? Or replaced?
