I haven't checked to see if my aux reperf has a tape feed out magnet, but suspect it does.
The only hole that might be critical is the big tape exit hole, the switches I would think can float a bit. Not having the reaperf installed yet, I don't know if there would be any interference from the repert. once mounted.
Snapshots from pages 274 & 275 of bulletin 1169B.

Will pull the panels from mine and get the dimensions. Can run several of each panel at the shop this week, either out of aluminum or carbon steel. The one panel I have out already looks like 16 or 18 ga, all I have available is 16 ga in both steel and aluminum or I think I have some 20 ga aluminum. I can either supply blank panels , or if you know your layout and hole sizes needed , I can go ahead and punch those while I am running the parts. Will run these on a CNC Euromac turret punch , so will take maybe 10 seconds to run. They will be raw material, no finish or paint. No charge for material or time, and don’t think it would cost much to mail out so will cover that cost, let me know what you are interested in and will get them done and mailed out.

Sent from my iPadYou remind me, I once bought a full sheet of 0.062 AL. Made some of own enclosure back in the day. I wonder if I still, have any pieces of that left that I can use. If I can find it and it's big enough, I might be persuaded to share.

Ace Hardware and Hobby Lobby have .032 x 4" x 10" aluminum sheets that require some cutting. I use these things for all sorts of small chassis-type stuff. Hacksaw & nibbling tool work fine.

I am working to get my 28 ASR integrated with my transmitter and receiver. I am thinking about making a control panel to get things integrated and controllable directly from the ASR. There is a blank panel above the TD which would make a good location (see attached). I would rather not hack this one as it is original and unmolested. I am wondering if anyone has a spare panel that I could purchase? Even if your has holes or switches/lights already mounted I would consider it.
Lemme know what you have!
