As previously stated, CV-278 is the receiving converter of Radio Teletype sets AN/GRC-46 or AN/VRC-29.  These sets are modifications of Radio Set AN/GRC-19 (R-392 and T-195).  Also required are a transmitting converter, some junction boxes and a TTY set.  The stack of manuals for the whole system is around 4”to 6” high.  I offer reprints of some of them.

Recently acquired a CV-278/GR "CONVERTER, FREQUENCY SHIFT"

All I can find online is a TM maintenance manual which is somewhat limited.

I'm looking for what the specifications and capabilities are for this unit. (Freq, shift, etc)

Anyone familiar with it?
