Power supplies in telephone central offices and large PBX installations used some really awesome rectifier and regulator tubes, some nearly a foot tall and definately a light show. I have the same rectifier for my model 19, too bad it is hidden away under the table. AND- my knees and back can attest to it's weight.

Because the glowing 323B's and the Neon LP3 do have some pretty colors!

The test in the photos was at 60MA I took it up to 750MA which is about 83% of its full capability of 900MA and it worked perfectly the whole time!!
The only drawback to the supply is waiting for it to "warm up" when you turn it on... It takes it a while.... It may be old but it still gets hot "eventually" sort of like me!! LOL! ;-)
