Hey all, I’ve had the Teletype for a few days now and have finally had a look.  It looks like its original color was brown, but then repainted Postal Service blue (that’s why I’m calling the color — but the repaint looks like it might be a professional job).  It’s not quite like a 19 I’ve seen before though — it could be an earlier one (the few that I’ve seen).  I believe that red markings is indicative of military?  The rectifier I believe is .8 amps and has a selenium rectifier -_- .  The table is metal and has been rewired a bit.  There are two regular power switches on the underside-left-front and then another switch panel on the right side underneath that can be seen.  On the back, there’s a relay that I’m not sure what it does, but it’s hooked to power… maybe for governed motors?  The table lacks the massive wiring schemes as seen on some military tables though.  The insides of the 15 lacks some terminals, parts and has a few other things that I have not seen before - like an extra set of terminals to the break switch… but it does have a re-inker!  Also, the insulation on the inside is is a but more sparse, I think (the layout).  The perf transmitter is marked 15 T 38 and the 14TD is 14 A 38 -  Bell System plaques throughout the insides (but missing most Bell System switches on the keyboard).  Other model numbers not mentioned.  It looks like the motor has been replaced with a synchronous one — at least on the 15.  I’ve been looking over schematics — at least for the table and haven’t found anything quite matching yet — or maybe it just hasn’t registered in my head yet.  The origins of this 19 is perplexing me!  Photos attached of some various things mentioned.

Any thoughts/ideas :) ?
