This particular wiring box went on the wall and the Teleprinter this hooked to was on a lazy susan type table and it was in a very small office.
(I cant find a picture of the table at the moment) To give an idea of what it looked like..
Essentially the table is made from a Toledo Chair/Stool with no back (like a drafting table chair)  takes up little space it adjusts up and down
and swivels.

Attached is a picture of a 2B wiring box attached to another type of table, notice the cabinet portion under the table 
and the relay mounted on top of the table.
So even amongst the 2B wiring boxes there are variations.
