This came from a ham that used it on RTTY, so Id think its set up for it. The st-6 is one I used at home on another 32.

I think its something in the CCU; theres two wires hanging out the front but Im not sure what they do (and jumping/unjumping does nothing). Theyre jammed into the plugs towards the front.

Heres another question, if the loop polarity is backwards. Could that do this? I dont know what TU he had before.

Right now the Europe channel might work because it is 50 baud but the ST-6 probably cannot be tuned to the European frequencies: 1275 mark and 1445 space. If you want to test things, I could set the frequencies for the Europenchannel to 2125/2295 temporarily as long as we warn the European users (if there are any) of the pending change because their machines won’t work.

I have a model 32 connected to a Hal st-6 TU. When connected im only seeing space on the Tu while feeding it ITTY. If I unplug the loop, I see both signals on the Tu. Anyone have quick ideas?

If I reset the machine it shuts off. So i need to get it in online mode. Its a western union telex machine with 4 buttons.
