Note that, just because a movie has a Teletype in it, or just because a Teletype actually plays a significant role doesn't mean the movie is great.  Someone once said that 90% of all art made in any generation is crap.  Fortunately, what we generally remember from past generations is the good stuff.  Unfortunately, that selective memory is why some people are always bemoaning the state of the current generation.
