______________________________________________________________Hi,
Were there different typeheads produced for the Model 33 with different character sets? I assume there must have been some variety. It appears that my typehead doesn't quite match my keyboard. Most characters are fine, but a couple of the shifted characters are a little different. My 33 keyboard (being a UK keyboard) has the pound sign £ above the three... When I type this I actually get a one-third ⅓ character... Which is odd because that seems to be the only fraction character that I have. My @ key produces what appears to be a back-tick `. There are a couple of other oddities, but the rest are all 'normal'. I'm assuming that different nationalities had variations in the typewheel and the one in my machine doesn't match the standard UK one that should go with my UK keyboard. This is not a big deal... just... interesting.
Cheers,
Troy.
