While in Viet Nam in 1967, we copied a lot of RTTY Press signals. There
was a big AP or UPI station in the Philippines on around 14.9 MHz that
always came booming in. Also copied Chinese Hinhua News Agency from
Peking with a quote from Mao about how "political power grows out of the
barrel of a gun" (copy enclosed)
When I got back to the states in 1968, heard very little commercial RTTY
on HF, except for WBR70, which was very strong, on about 8 Mhz.
We have a listing of news stations at the Museum, also. Lists times and
frequencies, but not speed or shift.
