The individual addressability of the Machines was the HOOK/Selling point for me!!
To be able to have my 100WPM machine talk directly to my 60WPM machine is GOLDEN
Its huge as I do not have to change gears in anything just leave it and program the card
to the baud rate.
The only issues involve set up reflashing the cards for the odd baud rates.
Once set up though you can talk from any baud to any baud. You do have to keep in mind
that if you send something say like a tape at 100wpm to a 60wpm machine you will still have to wait
the time it would take to transmit it at 60 if you DISCONNECT when the 100wpm tape finishes
I've found the receiving machine will truncate the message (it will dump the buffer) and not complete the message.
Just an odd thing I noticed.
BUT if you type that same message as a text file and use NCAT to send it to the IP address it will just type the whole thing
and (Hang up and turn off) after it completes

All of my i-Telex numbers are 24/7 I will usually reply right away if I catch it else I will reply
when I get a minute.
My numbers are
362436 joeyd drty deeds us  Teletype Model 26 If the number is familiar... It's Just like the AC/DC song.... LOL
8675309 jenny us WU2B Of course this one is Tommy 2 Tone "Jenny"
2210762 joeyd kgbhq us Soviet ST-35 the phone number is the actual number for the KGB (now FSB) in Moscow
227895 joeyd us Teletype Model 28ASR this number was the actual number of this machine when I got it It used to read 227895 WUTCODET

I will be adding about 6 more numbers as soon as the cards arrive from Henning in Germany.
Those machines will be 3 Model 15/19's a "Mackay Postal Telegraph 14 typing perf", and 2 more WU machines.
I want all my machines to be able to talk to each other and this is the solution!! l LOVE IT!

PS
Be kind to the WU2B and the Soviet ST-35 they are both tape/strip printers.
Short messages on either of those are appreciated.
The 26 or 28 you can send whatever whenever.
I'll post a picture of whatever you send on my website.

Pretty sure that any visitor at the museum will get a real kick out of that new technology combined with a 70 year old teletype machine.

Glad you got connected!

Hope someone showed up to test.  Was it successful?

My shack is in turmoil right now and my iTelex system is offline, so I wasn’t able to conduct a test with you!
