Hey all, I managed to nab another ASR-33, this time I grabbed this because its fairly unusual, and I only see one other example on the nets.
For the most part it appears to be a standard ASR-33, but instead of a UCC, it has an acoustic coupler! Comparing to the one online it also has 2 added switches, one of which is dangling underneath.
Another odd feature - it has wheels! In fact theres what looks like a factory "hand truck" built in. Makes moving it super easy!
It appears to be branded as Jacobsen Anderson who made modems at the time.
Anyone have docs or schems for the coupler? Im thinking its probably an off-the-shelf J-A coupler inside.
(I didnt pay the posted price, its pretty crusty inside).
