I also have a B, and to date I have not been able to get it to transmit on a current loop, though it receives without an issue. I chalked it up to a bad optoisolator on the xmit board and was going to try to swap it out or find another board, but perhaps I missed the jumper details you mentioned in the manual, or maybe they failed to mention that in the manual. I'd be interested to see whatever you have on this as well, Daniel.

I have a B model and the way I have to make it transmit is to manually switch the transmitter to transmit.  There is a wire that you can connect to utilize a switch on the UGC-74 on the same plug as the loop output.

You also must jumper the plug correctly to make it half duplex from full duplex which then when you set the switches it operates.  I will get you this later this evening.

I would be interested in your process to fix the A model.  Many people shy away from them because of the high speed roller.

Does anyone on Greenkeys use a Mititary UGC-74A model?
There seems to be a diffetent startup print out between  the A and B units! My unit prints all ok from a 60ma loop and terminal  but I cannot get it to transmit?

Most say the A units are not usually usable because of the degraded Rubber feed rollers but I have found a good working repair for that if anyone has an A unit they would like to operate,
