Hi JD,

I also have a Model 28ASR telex machine. It came out of the WU Office in Cherry Hill NJ in 1983 when the office closed and they were going to scrap it.  Do you know how rare 28 machines are  and were? 

I will send you some notes that I made about the interface box  which I bought from Germany and the modifications necessary… in my next email.

I have a WU Model 28 ASR and a WU Model 19 that were both Telex machines Bell J with Answerbacks
I'd like to hookup and play with them on the i-Telex as they are both *&%** annoying on ITTY with ' all the time. The 28 can actually switch Bell J Bell S or none.  
The 15(19) I stick some cardboard over the bell hammer on ITTY. 

I'd also want a semi authentic "Chicago/Detroit" WU telex number.
