You can also buy bulk ribbon from the same dealers who sell
spooled ribbons. I don't know the details of price but am under
the impression they are cheap. Spools can be hard to find.
I don't know if Teletype machines used eyelets in the ends
of the ribbons for automatic reversing, many typewriters do. I
would inquire of the ribbon dealer if he/she has eyelets.
Sometimes a knot tied in the ends of the ribbon work as well.
