Greetings All --
I recall from previous GreenKeys discussions that the electric bell in the model 28 cabinet is intended to be driven with 120 VAC 60 Hz (normal house AC power).
Does anyone know if electromagnet in the bell assembly makes use of a shaded poll? I assume that the duration of the power applied to the bell electromagnet is determined by the operation of the stunt box (i.e, does not exceed the time to receive one character, about 163 ms at 60 WPM, about 98 ms at 100 WPM).
Is there a possibility of burnout of the bell electromagnet coil if the power was applied to the electromagnet for an extended period of time?
Thanks,
