Michael,

The number I posted is not a two way communication link. (not in it's current configuration.)
It is in essence just an answering machine message that plays a RTTY audio file.
If you dial the number it is just going to play a RTTY audio file in a loop until it times out.
I just thought some might like to see if a RTTY signal could be copied across the phone.

Could it be made to be a two way channel?
Hmmmm. I suppose one could set up a conference call and send RTTY across it instead of voice.
I have not tried that yet.
First try to call the number and copy the RTTY audio.
If that works maybe I can set up a conference call and we can try two was coms.

BTW voip is very affordable. It costs just pennies.
Check out http://voip.ms

I have no connection to them. I'm just a customer.

Hell, Steve,

Have you been able to receive any text over this number? I have a Model 28 that I’d like to do just this with. I can’t connect over voip right now, but maybe I can figure out a Modem technique and try over your line if you’d like.

Michael
