I am going to guess that this is possible if you are setting up your own VOIP and have control
over what codecs are used. Google "fax over voip" and you will get an idea what problems you may encounter.
Are you familiar with Asterisk? (The PBX software)

Hey friends,

A buddy of mine and me will be setting up an internet relay for my Model 28 KSR (and perhaps the 15 down the line). Besides standard protocols and apps, has any had success with running a signal over VOIP? I have plans to run a computer BBS using similar methods, so I think this would be a cool opportunity.

Thanks,

Mike
