Hey folks. Time really flies. I’m getting to a stage in the shack with some RTTY projects that I thought I might get back into my M28’s. I looked at the copy on them and the last time I ran them was 2015! I think they hadn’t been used since I got them back from being rented to a TV series “Good Girl’s Revolt” when Jack K2TTY (fka K0TTY, fka WA2HWJ) supervised getting a bunch of machines operating for the TV series. Interestingly, I happened upon that TV series on Amazon Prime Video. It was a very good series! In the pilot they used the M28s but as the years went on (in the series), they used 33’s (IIRC).

Back to the machines. I think they arrived home from the moving company and I probably never connected them up again. So now I’m getting ready to start them up. Good news is, everything looks VERY well lubricated and glistening with oil so I am not anticipating any problems here. Then to review the wiring. One of the loop wires going into the KSR must have been pulled and broker during the move home, but I think I can figure out where it goes.

I look forward to getting the machine operational again. Now, if I can only get an antenna back up…
