I have not had a website for years. I have tried two providers and have had major problems with both. I expect to get what I am paying for and they don't seem to agree.

I have considered streaming my newsforkids with Icecast, but our Verizon DSL goes down maybe 10 times a day when it rains.

It went down while I was typing. I will have to reboot the modem to get this email to go out!

Verizon is not interested in solving the problem. Some foreign woman wants us yo buy a new modem. She cannot understand the it does mot rain on our modem. It rains on their outside plant and that is where the problem must be.

When it has gotten so bad that our phone went out, they have found things like ant nests and bird nests in terminal boxes. But she claims it is our modem. I know it is not and I am not sending them more money just to prove it!

So it is not practical right now to stream it.

I maintain a website for a friend who has a restaurant. He has many gigabytes of unused space. I will ask him if I may use some of it.Then I could at least post the tone files. If that happens I will post a link.

Thank you for you interest. I have streamed before in better days with Verizon. But it can't happen now.
