Hi all,

Over the last year as a hobby, I've focused on the restoration and use of older electronics. I recently learned about RTTY and realized it's a great next vintage technology platform to continue my hobby. I enjoy showing friends and family the relevance of designs used in the past, bringing them back in a meaningful way.

I'm planning to connect a teletype device to the internet using a microcomputers like raspberry pi or an Arduino. This has been performed by others out there in the community.

I'm trying to locate a teletype device for sale at a reasonable price. I'm located in the northern Colorado area, about an hour north of Denver (Windsor, CO, 80550).

I also frequent my home state Michigan to visit family if anyone is located out that way looking to sell.

I'm most interested in ASCII based machines (Send & Receive models), I believe the smaller form factor of these machines and protocol used will be easier to achieve my goal, but I remain open to Baudot if the machine is in working condition and not too large of a form factor.

Please reach out to me if anyone here is interested in selling off extra Teletype equipment! Also interested in any advice on custom translation boards to best interface with the older protocols.

Thank you,
