I have four Kennedy "originals" retyped, but I wanted to share something much less serious. I also have a roll of canary paper that is so brittle it is hard to thread into my 15 and I have several old ribbons awaiting re-inking.
I might type one up for a friend of mine to hang on his wall with the understanding that it would be a fake.
Of course I agree with the rest of you, and would NEVER try to pass one off as real!
I would love to have a copy of November 25, 0000, if Mike ever does it.
I have been typing stories from
newsforkids.net in the hopes of taking my 15 to an elementary school to let the kids watch it type and let them tear off stories and take them home. I already have almost 2 hours at 60 speed on an MP3 player and a little MFJ-1224 TU to take with me.
I borrowed a page from Harold Hallikainen and am using 3-circuit loop plugs on everything I would take to a school.
Everything around here uses (Handle with care!) 2-circuit plugs.
