I too would like to be able to print local (KTUS) METARS /TAFS onto my TTY sans internet if that's possible

Tell me more about your TTY pulling up the WX by ICAO.  Does this use the internet for retrieval or what exactly?

 

I ask because I have need for something along these lines to fetch METARs for local airports in text format WITHOUT using the internet.

I have a teletype set up in the hangar that can pull up the weather via the ICAO (airport ID) 
I want to take it to nerd level 11........
A printed copy of the ATIS and Weather is golden and the acars updates before the internet version a good 5-10 minutes earlier.
