Although I did purchase a drawstring from Mr. RTTY for my Model 15 last year, I haven't installed it yet.  For the last 15 years (and still going) I've been using a piece of waxed lacing cord formed into a loop by a square knot.  If you want to go that route I have a lifetime supply (but then, I'm old) of waxed lacing cord.  I'd be happy to mail you a 3 foot piece, which should be good for two strap replacements.

I'm restoring two teletypes just in the beginning one of my friends I found out also is restoring one...  He is looking the drawstring for the carriage return...  I don't have a spare only the two on my machines and he said Mr. RTTY has none... His eyelet is broke so he needs a new eyelet...  Mr RTTY said a flat shoestring would work and reuse the eyelets which wont work in this case...  would mcmaster carr have something that would work as an eyelet???
