Flogging the poor deceased equine one more time.  The federal spec for this 1/2” TELETYPEWRITER RECORDER tape specifically says it is for printing not perforating. I’m still looking for a printer that it works with. 

The tape for the Teletype/Kleinschmidt Wheatstone keyboard perforator is 15/32. That’s what the manuals all say and that's what the reels of tape that I have are. 

I don’t know about the McElroy perforator but my McElroy tape reader takes 15/32 but not 1/2. Ditto for my Boehme tape reader. Hard to imagine that the McElroy perforator uses 1/2" tape that will jam in their reader....

Nick, who has tried 1/2" tape that does not work and is always on the lookout for the real 15/32 stuff
