Here’s my 2 cents worth. If you are monitoring AUTOSTART, then you are interested in keeping this part of TTY technology alive. Other than the “regular” posts…ie: Tom’s Today in History (which I enjoy), K2DSI’s marine forecast, my RTTY ART (which I hope others enjoy and W6OQI’s jokes, there is no other traffic if the Greenkeys posts are not there. Yes, if a thread gets long, the constant reposting can get tedious and eat up a lot of paper, but that doesn’t seem to happen to often. You can also roll up the paper carefully and print on the other side. I have noted in the past that there seems to be little Greenkeys traffic past around 3 pm Pacific, so I have a time clock turn on my TU at 5 AM and turn it off at 3 PM. I’d like to see Greenkeys postings to ITTY AUTOSTART continue.Thanks….Doug….K6HGFOn Oct 16, 2021, at 3:16 PM, Daniel Jones <[email protected]> wrote:I agree Dave,
I use mine from Friday evening to Monday morning every week. I use about 1 roll per month.
With a case of 12 rolls costing about $105.00 I figure 10 bucks a month for entertainment is not to bad.

What do you all say? Turn it back on or leave it off? Feel free to reply
publicly or privately. I am at your service…
I'm reminded of the following:
Patient: Doctor! Doctor! It hurts whenever I bang my head against the wall!
Doctor: Well then, stop doing it!
If AUTOSTART hurts then don't turn it on (or perhaps only at certain times or something).
