All good if you truely want to play with the st-6000, but be aware theres better/easier ways to connect a teletype to a computer. You would also not need the radio at all, the audio from mmtty can be sent straight to the Hal if its what I think it is.

What id suggest first is a more basic challenge first so you can understand the setup better - use your computer and the st-6000 to have the 15 printing out the ITTY stream, from there once you have that working you'll be better to be able to interact between the two.

Step 2 would be to have the 15 copying down the arrl digital rtty bulletin.

Step 3 is actual RTTY convo on the air.

Have fun!

 Hi Mike...
Thanks for info on pin size.
I have the MMTTY program and would it to connect through the ST-6000 with the Model 15. If possible, see MMTTY text print on the teletype and type on the Model 15 and see it on the computer screen.
Additionally (if possible) send and receive the teletype through the ST-6000 to the MMTTY program.
I hope this makes sense.
Thank you, Bob...

I'm not sure if I understand. Are you connecting to a model 15 or a PC?

Subject: [GreenKeys] Questions re: ST-6000 and Model 15

Hello All...

I have questions regarding the HAL ST-6000 set up between MMTTY (Computer) and Transceiver (K4).
First of all is what size Molex pins and shells to get. Then how exactly to wire these three together properly.

Appreciate your guidance.

Thanks, Bob...
