Click on the header of the MAIN JTalert window
[the one with the version number and your call sign]
to activate that window;
Press F2 to get the Settings menu;
[see screen shot]
Click on "Directed CQ";
Click "Enable Directed CQ Alert" to put checkmark in box;
Click "Alert when decoded Callsign worked B4" to put
checkmark in box IF you want this feature;
Under "Direction Word", in the "Word:" window, type in
each "direction word" you want to detect and alert ... you
can see that I have several. (This works very much like
the Wanted Callsign entry menu).
Set the "Alert Color" settings to your desired combo;
Under "Alert Sound" ... find a .WAV sound file somewhere
on your computer that you want to hear when this alert
triggers ... you can see the path I used to "Trumpet.wav" !
Click "Select" button to browse your drive for
the .WAV file ...
When the path to the .wav file is displaying, click
the Test button to be sure the sound plays.
If the "Save" button at lower right is 'lit' click on it
to save the changes and settings you just made;
Click OK to exit the Settings menu.
Hope that helps ....
set it up for POTA for sure, and support those guys
who go out and Activate !!
