[GreenKeys] New to teletypes

To remove the rust, use evaporust, available at hardware stores an farm
stores.
It will dissolve the rust without removing any of the unrusted metal.
Wash the piece in water, dry and spray with silicone oil to protect the
metal.
Works wonders.
