Yeah, I believe that’s the other half (just going off of memory) — two contacts (positive/negative) for the AC motor (to keep it from spinning when the printing unit is off) and the other two (positive/negative) are for the loop current.

I had to jump two of the contacts on the base for some reason (many years ago - last decade)… it’s in the wiring schematics as an option, but I don’t remember why.  Maybe because I don’t have a polar relay?… don’t remember -_- .
