[GreenKeys] Model 15 Associated Press with Model 19 keyboard...can it work?

The 15 definitely has contact fingers at the bottom that hopefully match
the keyboard. I have to dig up the 15, it's in a box on some pallet on
some rack somewhere in the warehouse:-). Over time I've gotten smart enough
to not just plug in new old stuff, too many clouds of smoke.
But from what you guys tell me, I'm getting optimistic.
As I was playing with the keyboard, I noticed that the 2 toothed gears
(that are separate when no key has been pressed) are slightly touching,
causing a grind noise. Just the tips are touching. I assume that's not
good?
