This is a Lorenz model Lo15, made in Germany.
In the early 1930s, Lorenz bought the rights from Teletype Corp. to
manufacture the M15. They added a reperforator and tape reader to it and
it was used in the Telex network in Europe.
This unit may have be built for the US Telex market, since it has the
(US) standard 3 row keyboard. (Most European 5-bit machines had a 4 row
keyboard, with a separate row for figures.)
Anyone familiar with the "Intelex" name? (International Telex?)
I did an Internet search, but only came up with a company in Canada that
has only been around since 1992.
Looks nice! Someone should grab it ! (I would if it was closer!)
Have fun,
Duncan
