[GreenKeys] Model 14/15 Selector Arm Adjustments

Good afternoon,
So, I've given up, and I'm coming to the mailing list to help with something. I'm trying to get to the bottom of some issues with a model 14 teletype that I'm helping with, and really, it's coming to the point where it looks like the culprit is the selector arm and its various adjustment points. I've heard a single rule of thumb about the selector arm, that when the magnet is holding the arm in place, you should be able to slide a sheet of paper between the magnet and the metal. That's about it, and I can't seem to find any information on the other adjustment points in manuals other than an oz. range for the tensioning spring.I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how to get the mechanism tuned in correctly, like stroke length (I guess it'd be called that) of the armature itself, tensioning the spring, magnet position, things like that, or just a manual to point to that I can read into.I'll attach an image to this email to show the module I'm talking about.
