I've been getting my hands dirty in the guts of some BRPE punches.  At this point, I've extracted all the linkage parts from one punch that I need to install in the other in order to widen it from 6 bits to 8 bits, and I've completed drawings of the 8-bit punch block, thanks to Bob Rosenbloom, who loaned me his 8-bit BRPE punch block. I reassembled the punch that I robbed for parts.  At this point, it's clear that it will never run again, but I don't think I damaged anything in the process.  I did the reassembly mostly in order to be sure I could do it before setting to work on the punch I'm widening to 8 bits.
