I never met George & only had one phone chat with him, prompted by the plethora of TTY gear he had to move that time. We had a long, pleasant talk, meandering from topic to topic. Even though the logistics of passing some of that gear to me was prohibitive. It was as if I was talking with my brother. Plenty of time & interesting things. It would've been a pleasure to have met in person.

Talents & knowledge & memories are passing over the Event Horizon, never to return. We, all of us, also are slowly falling toward that horizon. It's worth thinking about once in a while.
