If you get really desperate and read the manual, you might avoid my
frustration at getting my new toy working.

BITE was okay. Hooked TXD to RXD and got echoed characters okay. But I was
printing garbage from my test generator and eventually figured out I needed
to invert the signals. So I flipped the invert switch and nothing changed.
When is a switch not a switch? When it has to be read by software….

Time to RTFM - this thing has 3 ports and I was guessing that maybe one of
the unused ports was messing with Port 1
AHA! Table 2-4 starting at step 11
Yes Port 3 was set to Bulk Storage so I set it to N to disconnect it. No
joy. Keep reading.

Oh, you have to re-initialize a port after changing a configuration switch
(e.g. INVERT)
See steps 11-20
Hurrah, I can send and receive!
Now you too know how to invert signals if needed in your setup.

On to read more about messages, etc.
what fun!

No, I have no info on Bulk Storage or Page Display peripherals.
