When I first tried it with FLDIGI it worked great.A little later I tried it from Linux command line with curl, lame, mtty and I got strange results. There were some carriage returns with no line feed and a lot of text I could not read.Maybe it was just me.

Now that it has been running for 26 hours non stop with a total of 11 people logged in at one time (With and average of 3) I will take the stream down and start compiling the files. My intention is to have it back up on Saturday or Sunday.

Hi Daniel,
Tuned in for 1 1/8-ish runs of the loop and can happily say I got clean copy. Signal was sufficient for me, too.
Looking forward to seeing if this materializes more than temporarily, always love a little history in a period-appropriate-ish format (that is, coming from my M26).
In the meantime, I’m still researching other possible “fun” ways to get things to interface in real time with my machine.

I will let the stream go for the next 24 hours with the current 2 transmissions going. If it is all good then I will work at converting many more communications from the Nimitz Gray book over the next couple of weeks and setting the schedule. I am using the RTTYApp that Paul Heller uses as well as the software called BUTT (Broadcasting using this tool) the BUTT basically loops back the sound from the sound card output and sends it to my site that has ICECAST.

I am testing out a WW2 Stream. I will feature communications from the Nimitz Gray Book spaced out so that there is only a few per day, sometimes there might not be anything as I am going to try and sync the broadcast schedule to the dates.
For now it’s just looping and RY, Quick Brown Fox and a communication from 7DEC1941. I am going to run this loop for a couple of days to check the load and reliability of the stream.

Test it out and provide feedback if you run into an issue.
