 Daniel,

Are you doing this with Ethernet? I bought some of these Vonets ethernet to wifi bridges so I could use ATAs for my antique phones
without running cables. Just plug the ATA (analog telephone adaptor) into the Vonet and it become wireless.

I guess if you already ran the wire no need but maybe for future expansion.

So my current project is to take this UGC-20 and put it in the guest room via Cat5e.
My house has a Cat5e cable to each room in the house and it terminates back to my shack.  I plan on using cat5e not only to supply the loop to the machine but RX/TX/PTT for voice communications back to my switchboards.  That way in the heat of the summer I can use the inside machine, in the winter during Santa tracker it can be there for the kids to see without having to run to the shack.
The table is a Bell System table with the UGC on the top.  I put a loop motor controller in it which turns on at the sign of a mark over the loop.  The handset is a Motorola telephone style with built in PTT button.  I have tested the motor controller and everything seems fine.  I will be wiring it up over the next week to see how well it works.
The wire caps are just temp connections back to the patch panel in the shack, they won’t be there when I am done.
